Peripheral nerve blocks are often used to diagnose and treat pain associated with a specific nerve. Examples of peripheral nerve blocks include lateral femoral cutaneous, suprascapular, and ilioinguinal/iliohypogastric nerve blocks.
All injections are performed under fluoroscopy (x-ray) or ultrasound-guidance or both.
